All of our kids (which included 3 spouses and 2 grandbabies) were home for Christmas, for almost 2 weeks...it was crazy, chaotic, crowded and absolutely WONDERFUL! Everyone made it on to the "Nice List" by Christmas, except for Grandpa... he got potato peelings in his stocking! I guess he has some New Year's resolutions to make and keep!?
I took a short break from vinyl to hold granddaughters as much as possible, but while they were sleeping, helped my daughters do some vinyl projects before they flew home...watch for upcoming pictures. One project was getting things ready for my granddaughter's 1st birthday. Just received the pictures... Mckinlay woke up on her birthday and was delighted to find a special birthday sign and garden of colorful flowers on the wall.
Her mom was brave enough to have 7 little friends over to celebrate this big day...the theme was "Old Mckinlay's Farm"! Besides lots of cute little "animals", there was a cake that looked like a sheep, goody bags of animal crackers, and I'm sure, many choruses of "E-I-E-I-O"!
